About

What this wiki is, how entries are written, who operates it and how personal data is handled.

Not an official site

Study in China Wiki is an independent glossary. It is not run by, and has no connection with, any Chinese ministry, the National Immigration Administration, the China Scholarship Council, any test provider or any university. It does not accept applications of any kind.

How entries are written

One term, one entry. Each entry gives a short definition, the Chinese name where an official text states it, and a link to the official text the definition is taken from, with the date it was last read. An entry says nothing the source does not say. The wiki defines terms; it does not give advice, rank universities, publish admission rates or promise outcomes.

Languages

The wiki is published in English, French, Arabic, Japanese and Indonesian. The official texts are in Chinese or English; where a translation here and the official text differ, the official text is right.

Who operates it

The site is operated by UNILINK EDUCATION PTY. LTD, an education consultancy with operating entities in Australia, China and the United Kingdom.
