• Introduction, Application Guide for Chinese Government Scholarship: the CSC is entrusted by China's Ministry of Education and is responsible for the admission, enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship recipients.
• Section V, item 6: the CSC organizes designated universities and experts concerned to examine applicants' eligibility and academic performance before finalizing the short-list candidates.
• Section V, item 7: the CSC notifies the admission results to the application receiving agency, which then has the applicant informed.
• Section VII, Contact Information: the section names the Division of International Students Admission and Cooperation Programs, China Scholarship Council, and the website campuschina.org.
• Article 4, Measures for the Administration of Schools Recruiting and Educating International Students (学校招收和培养国际学生管理办法), Order No. 42 of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security: the education administrative department of the State Council manages international student work nationwide and may entrust relevant units and industry organizations with the management and service work for international students. The second paragraph of Article 4 states that the foreign affairs and public security administrative departments of the State Council do related management work within their divisions of responsibility. Article 4 does not name the CSC.
